Hive Streaming manual network configuration without HDH

If the HIVE Desktop Helper (HDH) is not permitted in your environment or unable to transit your Internet infrastructure, you must manually configure Internet access for deployed HIVE Agents.

HIVE Cloud Services hosted on the Internet

HIVE Cloud Services are used for signaling, telemetry & logging only (no content)

If needed, Hive Streaming publishes static IP addresses for HIVE Cloud Services to support firewall configuration (login required).

Outbound requests to support HIVE Silent Testing

Hive Streaming uses a unique capability called Silent Testing to verify your streaming video events will be successful.  Silent Testing uses the Hive Agents you’ve already deployed to simulate a complete end-to-end video streaming event in the background - without requiring your end-users to click a link or participate in any other way.
