How do I get billed?

All purchases made through the Microsoft Marketplace get billed through Microsoft. As of December 2020, Microsoft charges all subscriptions at the beginning of the term.

I’m interested in one of the offers by Hive in Microsoft Marketplace. How do I know which plan is most appropriate for my company’s usage?

Each plan under Hive’s offers in the Microsoft Marketplace is built to address consumption rates accounting for an average of 2-3 views per employee. These are set as guidelines, but consumption rates will vary across companies.

What is budget security?

Budget security is a Hive add-on that allows customers to exceed their budget of views by up to 50% of the purchased amount. This is intended to buffer video views’ consumption exceeding the purchased amount, which would otherwise incur overage charges.

What happens if I exceed my allocated view counts?

Hive Support will contact customers who are approaching their views count limit and prompt them either to purchase additional views or allow for Hive to suspend its services once the view count threshold that has been purchased has been met.

Is there an option for a Free Trial?

Hive is not offering Free Trials through the Microsoft Marketplace now. This option is currently under development and will be available sometime in 2021.

What if I want a different package than what I see in the MS Marketplace?

Please contact Hive Support to help you determine if a Private Plan would be more appropriate to address your company’s needs.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Currently, your subscription can only be cancelled through the Azure portal or Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
