How do I activate a HIVE license for use with Microsoft Stream?

Using HIVE with Microsoft Stream requires you to complete two steps:

  1. The first step is to add your O365 Tenant ID to the Hive Portal

  2. This step requires an action by the customer and then needs to be completed by the Hive Solutions Engineer in the Hive Portal.

Obtaining the Tenant ID from Microsoft Stream

NOTE: To access the Stream Admin Settings, you must be a Stream Admin.  By default, any Office 365 Global Tenant Admins are also Stream Admins.  However, it is possible for the Stream Admin role to be extended to other users in the organization.

  • First, login to Microsoft Stream

  • Go to Stream settings -> Admin settings (upper-right menu bar):





  • Select the Network Caching sub-menu:



  • Copy the Stream tenant ID:



Send the Tenant ID to your Hive Solutions Engineer

Please provide Tenant ID to your Solutions Engineer who will capture and Activate it in the Hive Portal
